The Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence is set to undergo a comprehensive renovation to transform it into a multi-standard sports facility.

The decision was presented during the Ghana Football Association's congress in 2022, where they unveiled the Master Plan for the center's modernization.

Once completed, the upgraded GFA Technical Centre will feature natural grass turfs, a mini Stadium covering an area of 6,825 square meters with a seating capacity of 6,000 spectators, and two changing rooms suitable for hosting international matches of all national teams except the Black Stars.

The center will become the new home for the Senior National "A" team for training and camps, and it may also host friendly matches.

Currently equipped with one artificial turf and three natural turfs, the center's transformation will add eight natural and artificial pitches, two of which will have regular and VIP stands, one being the betPawa Park.

Additionally, the GFA Technical Centre will include two Beach soccer pitches and two Futsal pitches, expanding its versatility and appeal to various sports.

The center's facilities will not only cater to athletes but also support learning and development, with plans for an Administration Block and a 12-unit classroom block featuring modern amenities.

The accommodations will be significantly enhanced, featuring a 3-star hotel/hostel facility with 58 guestrooms, a medical sports center, a gym, a sauna, and two conference rooms.
