The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia has stepped up their training ahead of their round of 16 clash with the Black Stars of Ghana on Monday, July 8, 2019.
Ghana who beat Guinea Bissau in her last match of the group phase finished top of Group F ahead of defending champions Cameroon.
By virtue of that result, they booked a date with Tunisia who finished as runners-up in Group E after drawing all 3 matches in the preliminary stage.
The North African side arrived in Ismailia on Wednesday and following a day’s rest, they have stepped up training for what will be a difficult encounter with the West African giants.
Meanwhile their star player Wabhi Khazri is pushing to recover from an injury to be available for the important clash on Monday.
