Everton summer signing Jordan Pickford is set to make his Toffees debut in the second-leg of the Europa League qualifying tie against Ruzomberok in Slovakia.
The £30m arrival from Sunderland was present on the bench as the Toffees registered a narrow 1-0 win the first leg at Goodison Park last week.
"We know we need to make decisions on the team and it is not only about the goalkeeper," said Koeman.
"It's still the pre-season but we can't call it pre-season because we're playing in an important game tomorrow. Pickford will start the game."
