PICTURES: GFA holds meeting with Premier League clubs to discuss upcoming season

Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has held a meeting with the Ghana Premier League clubs today to discuss the upcoming 2019/2020 football season.

The meeting which took place at the M Plaza Hotel in Accra saw the major stakeholders in the sports discussing major issues relating to the starting date of the local league, the Club Licensing, and others.

At the end of a very fruitful meeting, the two parties have agreed that the scheduled date for the start of the 2019/2020 season should be pushed from December 21 to December 28, 2019.

A new Ghana Premier League Committee has also been constituted to run the affairs of the new season with the GFA’a Exco hoping that the clubs will consent to play an autonomous league.
