The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo visited the hotel of the Black Stars to interact with them ahead of their Group F match against Benin in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The team which is lodging at the Tolip Forsan Island Hotel & Resort were surprised by the first gentleman of the land who passed by to give some word of encouragement to the whole team as they begin their journey towards winning a 5th AFCON title.
Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Dr. K.K Sarpong together with some other members and a member of the GFA Normalization Committee, Sammy Kuffour were all in attendance when they President passed by the team’s hotel.
His Excellency will be present at the Ismailia stadium at 20:00GMT to watch the team’s opening match with the Squirrels of Benin.
