With Aaron Ramsey on the verge of leaving Arsenal on a free as his contract winds down, Andrea Pirlo has called on his former club Juventus to secure his signature.
The Welshman has been linked with a host of clubs across the continent for next season as with his deal at the Emirates Stadium due to expire in June, he appears extremely unlikely to pen an extension.
Juventus have proven themselves very adapt at picking up free agent acquisitions in recent years, with Pirlo himself among the players they have secured for nothing, and he would like to see Ramsey follow a similar path.
“He is a talented player who has everything. He is a complete player can do a lot on the pitch and he also scores goals too,” Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia.
“Ramsey would be a great purchase and it would be another excellent deal for Juventus. He is a strong player and I think that he is someone who would do very well here.”
In addition to the Old Lady, the 28-year-old has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
