Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac, has explained his criteria for selecting his Black Stars squad.

The Serbian gaffer on Thursday named a 28-man squad for the final round of games of the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers this month.

Ghana will face Ethiopia on November 11 and South Africa on November 14 in the final Group G games.

“It is important that every player must meet my requirements," the 67-year-old said.

He then went on to explain how he came about the balance of the squad,

“It is important to have competition, I must have at least 2 players for each position."

Form was also a key factor as the Serbian emphasized only players in good form would be called up, lastly he explained that his tactical plans were the most important

“Each position has different requirements, and if the player can deliver, contribute, and meet my expectations. Then the player can be invited to the national team."

Ghana will be hosted at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg before hosting South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium.
