A Board Member of Asante Kotoko, Alhaji Abu Lamine has expressed his anger following his outfit goalless drawn game with Hearts of Oak.

The Porcupine Warriors hosted their worn rivals in an outstanding game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Kotoko had an early opportunity to open the score via a spot-kick but it was saved by goalkeeper Richard Attah after Kwame Opoku failed to score from the spot.

Opoku was fouled in the 18-yard box by Nuru Sulley in the second minute.

"It was a difficult match although we had begging chances which we failed to utilize," he told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.

"I believe this is the worse performance of Kotoko recently, look at how they played, this is the worse I have seen.

The technical team has to work on the performance of the players, It was very abysmal.

"The whole board we were not happy with their performance," he added.

Hearts of Oak meanwhile, earned them a penalty on the 70th minute after Isaac Mensah was fouled by goalkeeper Razak Abalora.

Substitute Isaac Mensah who elected himself to effect the spot-kick failed to find the back of the net as his effort was fisted out by Abalora.
