Playing against Asante Kotoko was tough – Samuel Inkoom admits

Hearts of Oak defender, Samuel Inkoom has admitted that he had a tough time when he faced Asante Kotoko.

The experienced full-back joined the Phobians midway through the season after ending his stay in Georgia where he played for a number of the top clubs.

In the second round of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season, Samuel Inkoom made a substitute appearance when Hearts of Oak lost 1-0 to Asante Kotoko.

Opening up on that game, Samuel Inkoom says it was a very tough match.

“Playing against Kotoko was tough and knowing what the match meant to the two clubs, I was just okay with it and I know what it involves,” Samuel Inkoom told Atinka FM in an interview.

After that game against Asante Kotoko, Samuel Inkoom went on to feature in a number of games where he impressed.

He helped Hearts of Oak to win the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup title after the team missed out on the Ghana Premier League trophy.
