Andre Ayew has expressed the immense challenge and personal sacrifice that comes with representing the Black Stars, Ghana's national football team.

Addressing a sports psychology class at the University of Ghana as a guest lecturer, Ayew spoke candidly about the concept of 'self-sacrifice'.
He emphasized the deep pride he feels when wearing the national team colours and underscored the significant personal sacrifices required.
"When you wear this jersey, you understand the weight of responsibility ahead of you. For me, it's ingrained in how I was raised. The national team holds profound importance in my life and my family's," Ayew remarked.
"I don't just wear these colors for personal gain; I wear them with pride."
He continued, "Every time you step onto the field in this jersey, you must surpass your own limits if you wish to leave a lasting impression."
Despite Ayew's distinguished career and potential to further extend his record appearances, uncertainties loom over his future with the national team.
Despite his stellar performance with Le Havre, he was notably absent from the latest squad announcement.
Currently a free agent after his contract with Le Havre expired, Ayew remains hopeful of securing a new club and continuing his football journey.
