Black Queens' head coach Nora Häuptle has instituted a playing style that requires them to play out from the back always, according to defender Janet Egyir.

Egyir revealed this after the Black Queens recorded a double-header win over Senegal, with a 4-0 aggregate win in two international friendly games played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hauptle, who was appointed as head coach of the team this year, has already transformed the team's playing style in a short period of time, according to Egyir.

"She wants her team to always have possession. And she always wants the buildup to start from the back and so she has brought a lot of different stuff," Egyir said in an interview with Radio Gold.

Gifty Assifuah scored twice in between Grace Asantewaa’s second strike in the first test with Evelyn Badu’s 84th minute goal separating the two sides in the second game.

Egyir, who plays as a defender for Israeli Ligat Nashim club Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC, hailed the impact of the head coach on the team's game play.
