PLB hold emergency meeting over match day 23

The Premier League board is in an emergency meeting over the match day 23 games of the Ghana Premier League after the team bus carrying Kumasi Asante Kotoko got involved in an accident.

The match day 23 of the Premier League would have seen Kumasi Asante Kotoko play arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

However, with the entire Kotoko team involved in an accident and several players injured. It’s unlikely the game will be played.

All games were initially supposed to be played on Saturday with the Super Clash on Sunday but Chairman of Premier League Board Mr. George Amoako says a meeting will be held to confirm which games will be played.

“The Premier League Board will have an emergency meeting on Thursday to decide as whether to postpone the week 23 league matches or not,” Amoako told Footballmadeinghana.com

“What has happened is very sad, latest by the close of the day the PLB will officially announce our decision,”
