Poor structures in Ghana reason for coaches struggle - Bismark Kobi-Mensah

Great Olympics head coach, Bismark Kobi-Mensah says the structures in Ghana football does not help the development of coaches.

The former Karela United was appointed as Yaw Preko's successor months ago.

However, Kobi-Mensah is finding it difficult to maintain the performance of the club. He has managed just two wins, two draws and two losses which leave the club in the relegation zone with 31 points after 26 games played.

“Seriously it has been very difficult along the line because as you know, the structures here in football is not that very good," he told Accra-based Radio Gold.

“So if you are a coach, you have to struggle all day but we have been managing since and I think the Ghana Premier League has given us a very good platform to blend and develop," he added.

Meanwhile, Kobi-Mensah will hope to lead Great Olympics to win when they host Tamale City in the matchday 27 games at the Red Bull Arena at Sogakope on Sunday.
