Pray for the team; not individual players – Abednego Tetteh to Hearts supporters

Highly-rated striker Abednego Tetteh is urging all Hearts of Oak fans to support the entire team instead of just one player.

The former Bechem United goal monger sealed his transfer to the Rainbow family on Monday as he inked a 3-year contract that is expected to expire in 2023.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Fox FM, Abednego Tetteh says he wants the supporters to back the entire team with prayers and not just one player of their liking.

"I will urge the supporters to continue to pray for the whole team but not for individual players. We are hoping and praying for COVID-19 to end so that we can continue our football season", he said.

Tetteh has joined the Phobians with high expectations and will be relied on for goals when the suspended Ghana Premier League season resumes.
