Published on: 03 March 2018

Son Heung-Min followed up a midweek brace with another on Saturday as Tottenham Hotspur defeated Huddersfield Town 2-0 at Wembley Stadium, extending their unbeaten run to 17 games in all competitions.

Son, who scored two goals in Spurs' victory over Rochdale in the fifth-round FA Cup replay on Wednesday, now has 15 goals in all competitions and nine goals in 15 home Premier League games.

Taken off after 70 minutes, Son scored his first in the 27th minute, dribbling around Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl and slotting home off the post, and added the second in the 54th with a glancing header off a cross from Harry Kane on the right.

Fourth official Kevin Friend replaced Mike Jones as referee after Jones was injured during the warm-up.

play2:15Leicester 1-1 Bournemouth: Mahrez leaves it late

Riyad Mahrez's 96th minute free-kick secured a 1-1 draw for Leicester against Bournemouth.

Riyad Mahrez left it late, scoring a stunner in the 97th minute to help Leicester City salvage a point at home in a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth at the King Power Stadium.

Mahrez's goal was his first since he ended his January transfer deadline standoff on Feb. 10 after being denied a move to Manchester City.

Josh King scored a penalty in the 35th minute after he was tripped by Leicester's Marc Albrighton, and he scored his fourth Premier League goal of the season when keeper Kasper Schmeichel guessed the wrong way.

Leicester are still winless in their last five league games, dating to Jan. 20.

play2:08Watford 1-0 West Brom: Deeney does it again

Troy Deeney was the difference once again for Watford with his goal proving enough for his side against bottom club West Brom.

Troy Deeney scored in the 77th minute to earn Watford a 1-0 victory over bottom club West Bromwich Albion.

Deeney was left one-on-one with goalkeeper Ben Foster after West Brom defender Jonny Evans moved up to try to force the Watford striker offside, but Deeney chipped his shot over Foster from 20 yards to secure three points.

Evans was earlier poised to give West Brom the lead, but his attempt off a corner struck the post.

Watford now have three victories in manager Javier Gracia's first five league games, while Alan Pardew has now won just one of his 15 games in charge.

play2:25Swansea City 4-1 West Ham: Swans above the drop

Swansea City dominated West Ham from start to finish at the Liberty Stadium, as the hosts climbed out of the relegation zone with a massive win.

Ki Sung-Yeung scored one goal and set up another as Swansea City improved their unbeaten run in all competitions to seven games at home with a 4-1 victory over West Ham United at the Liberty Stadium.

Ki, who has now scored twice in his last three league games, struck from the edge of the box in the eighth minute and then later sent a corner to an unmarked Mike van der Hoorn in the centre of the box for the hosts' second.

Andy King then increased that lead to 3-0 in the 48th minute by slotting home a deflection off of Javier Hernandez, and Jordan Ayew scored a penalty in the 63rd minute after he was tripped by Cheikhou Kouyate.

Michail Antonio scored West Ham's only goal in the 79th minute as West Ham fell behind Swansea in the table.

Winston Reid, making his first league start since Jan. 4, was stretchered off in the 27th minute with what appeared to be a knee injury.

play2:22Burnley 2-1 Everton: Clarets first win of 2018

Burnley came from behind to beat Everton 2-1 at Turf Moor and pile pressure on their manager Sam Allardyce.

Substitute Chris Wood scored a header in the 80th minute to give Burnley their first Premier League victory in 12 games with a 2-1 win against 10-man Everton at Turf Moor.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson launched his corner to the far post with Wood, on after half-time, leaping over Everton's Michael Keane to deliver the winner in Sean Dyche's 250th game in charge of Burnley.

Cenk Tosun had opened the scoring in the 20th minute with his first goal in five appearances for Everton since a move from Besiktas in January.

Ashley Barnes then provided the equaliser in the 56th minute, and after Wood struck, Everton were reduced to 10 men when Ashley Williams was shown a straight red card in the 86th minute for elbowing Barnes.

The defeat means Everton still only have one league win away from home this season.

play1:28Southampton 0-0 Stoke City: Points split in relegation clash

Neither Southampton nor Stoke City were able to break through at St. Mary's, with the two sides settling for a point in their efforts to stay in the Premier League.

Jack Butland did his best to preserve Stoke City's chances of survival, denying hosts Southampton several late opportunities in a 0-0 draw at St Mary's.

Butland continued to stake his claim to be England's goalkeeper for the World Cup in Russia this summer by turning aside three Southampton chances within seven minutes.

After a save from right-back Cedric Soares in the 67th minute, he stopped Nathan Redmond's bottom-corner attempt in the 72nd minute and then saved Redmond again two minutes later.

Southampton, who have won once in the league in their last 16 games, have now failed to score more than one goal in 31 of their last 36 home games.
