BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION: Brighton manager Chris Hughton reported no fresh injury problems ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace. Israel midfielder Beram Kayal, who suffered a broken leg in the final pre-season match against Atletico Madrid, was an unused substitute for the 1-0 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday as he continues his recovery. Midfielder Steve Sidwell remains sidelined by a back problem, but is set to soon step up his rehabilitation programme.

The former England boss could however rotate his resources to keep his players fresh for the hectic festive fixture schedule.

Few changes are expected from the team that started the draw at West Ham on Friday night but the likes of Ben Chilwell, Andy King, Kelechi Iheanacho, Islam Slimani and Shinji Okazaki are options for Puel.

Danny Rose is also likely to come back in but Harry Winks has fallen ill and will have to be assessed while Toby Alderweireld (hamstring) and Victor Wanyama (knee) are both out.

Fellow midfielders Nacer Chadli (hip) and James Morrison (Achilles) are making progress but the game on Tuesday night will probably come too soon for them to be involved.
