BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs. CRYSTAL PALACE

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION: Brighton manager Chris Hughton reported no fresh injury problems ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace. Israel midfielder Beram Kayal, who suffered a broken leg in the final pre-season match against Atletico Madrid, was an unused substitute for the 1-0 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday as he continues his recovery. Midfielder Steve Sidwell remains sidelined by a back problem, but is set to soon step up his rehabilitation programme.

CRYSTAL PALACE: Crystal Palace have no fresh injury worries ahead of Tuesday's Premier League trip to Brighton. Manager Roy Hodgson revealed his relief at Palace emerging relatively unscathed from Saturday's 2-1 home win over Stoke. The former England boss could however rotate his resources to keep his players fresh for the hectic festive fixture schedule.

LEICESTER CITY vs. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

LEICESTER: Leicester boss Claude Puel will have an unchanged squad for the visit of Tottenham. Central defender Robert Huth (ankle) and midfielder Matty James (Achilles) remain out injured but they are the only players unavailable to the Frenchman. Few changes are expected from the team that started the draw at West Ham on Friday night but the likes of Ben Chilwell, Andy King, Kelechi Iheanacho, Islam Slimani and Shinji Okazaki are options for Puel.

TOTTENHAM: Erik Lamela is set to be named in Tottenham's squad for the first time in over a year against Leicester on Tuesday. Lamela has not played since October 25, 2016 after undergoing operations on each of his hips but he has told Mauricio Pochettino he is ready for a competitive return. Danny Rose is also likely to come back in but Harry Winks has fallen ill and will have to be assessed while Toby Alderweireld (hamstring) and Victor Wanyama (knee) are both out.

WATFORD: Watford captain Troy Deeney returns for the Premier League clash with Manchester United after completing a three-match suspension. Defender Miguel Britos is a doubt after suffering a knock in the 3-0 victory over Newcastle and will be given a late fitness test. Defenders Craig Cathcart (knee) and Younes Kaboul (hamstring), midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah (knee) and forward Isaac Success (knee) are likely to miss out once more.

MAN UNITED: Zlatan Ibrahimovic is pushing for his first start since April as Manchester United travel to Watford. The 36-year-old has made three substitute appearances from the bench since returning from a serious knee injury, while Paul Pogba played his first 90 minutes against Brighton after nearly 10 weeks out with a hamstring injury. Marcos Rojo could be rested if fellow defenders Eric Bailly or Phil Jones recover from injury, while captain Michael Carrick is building his fitness after having a cardiac ablation to deal with an irregular heart rhythm.

WEST BROM: West Brom will check on the fitness of Chris Brunt ahead of the visit of Newcastle. Gary Megson was without the Northern Ireland international (calf) for his first game as caretaker manager against Tottenham at Wembley at the weekend. Fellow midfielders Nacer Chadli (hip) and James Morrison (Achilles) are making progress but the game on Tuesday night will probably come too soon for them to be involved.

NEWCASTLE: Isaac Hayden will return to the Newcastle squad for Tuesday night's Premier League trip to West Brom. Hayden missed Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Watford through suspension, but is available once again for the game at the Hawthorns. Fellow midfielder Mikel Merino was used as a substitute against the Hornets after recovering from a back injury, but full-back Paul Dummett (hamstring), central defender Jamaal Lascelles (foot) and winger Christian Atsu (groin) are still out.

ARSENAL: Arsenal will be hopeful Mesut Ozil overcomes illness to be involved in Wednesday's Premier League visit of Huddersfield. The Germany international missed the 1-0 win at Burnley on Sunday but was expected to train on Tuesday in an attempt to be available. Alex Iwobi (leg) is definitely missing, as is long-term injury absentee Santi Cazorla (ankle) but they are Arsene Wenger's only two sidelined players.

Defenders Brad Smith (hip) and Tyrone Mings (back) continue their rehabilitation.

Fellow midfielder Mario Lemina returned from an ankle problem as a second-half substitute against the Toffees and came through unscathed, but defender Matt Targett (leg) remains sidelined.

STOKE: Stoke's Ramadan Sobhi is expected to be fit for the Premier League clash with Liverpool on Wednesday. The winger sustained a knock to the ankle in Saturday's 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace but boss Mark Hughes has said he should be fine to be involved when the Reds visit the bet365 Stadium. Hughes has also said Saido Berahino, who was left out of the matchday 18 at the weekend, is in his thoughts for this contest. Geoff Cameron (concussion) and Jack Butland (finger) remain sidelined.
