In a new report by Brazilian outlet Record, it seems that Wolverhampton have now join the race to sign Santos' young Brazilian talent Kaio Jorge, after the starlet was linked with Juventus and Milan in the past few weeks.

The Santos forward contract with the club is set to expire at the end of the year, and the player is now able to sign a pre-contract with another club if he so wishes. The Brazilian club, however, would prefer to sell him before that to monetize his departure, and buyers are apparently lining up, but are also aware that Santos can't ask for a lot of money, as the player is a free agent in six months.

Reportedly, they are asking for 10M Euros, a more than acceptable price for what Jorge could become in just a couple of years, and Wolves are certainly interested, but will have to beat out fierce competition from other European giants. Jorge is seen as a cheaper alternative to Mexican striker Raul Jimenez, whose condition remains precarious after he suffered a horrible head injury last season.
