Southampton are closing in on a deal for Manchester United defender Brandon Williams and are pursuing Blackburn striker Adam Armstrong, talkSPORT understands.
Williams, 20, is set to join the south coast side on loan while Saints are in talks with Blackburn over a permanent move for Armstrong, 24, who scored 29 goals last season.
