In Chelsea's Champions League encounter against Juventus on Tuesday, Romelu Lukaku is expected to return after a month out with an ankle injury.
Lukaku has been in full training since Sunday, and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel indicated the Belgium striker might be called up to the group if he is declared fit following a meeting with medical personnel.
“Maybe he has the chance to be in the squad for the last minutes (of the match),” Tuchel said of Lukaku, “but that will be the absolute maximum we can get out of the situation right now.”
Lukaku was injured in the Champions League triumph over Malmo on Oct. 20, the same game in which Timo Werner was forced out with a hamstring injury.
