The mouthwatering fixture between bitterest rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak risks been postponed for the second time following reports that the match venue is not in the best of shapes.

The two most successful clubs in the country locked horns back in September to honour President Akufo-Addo but the match was called off after just 10 minutes at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium because of heavy rainfall that day.

Organizers later engaged the two clubs involved and agreed that the game will be played on Sunday, December 15, 2019, this time around at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Just 3 days to matchday, information being picked up has revealed that the match could be rescheduled again as a result of poor conditions at the match venue. Checks have disclosed that due to the Cardi B concert held at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday, the pitch is not looking that good.

In line with that, the organizers might be forced to push the match to December 22, 2019.
