Prince Osei Owusu helps Aue secure a point against Paderborn

The debut goal against Kiel was followed by a good performance at Paderborn by FC Erzgebirge Aue's new winter signing. At his former club, the huge attacker was given two penalties, which Dimitrij Nazarov easily converted.

"Prince needed just such a sense of achievement in order to be able to play more freely. It wasn't easy for him before, because he had worked out his situations before, but couldn't reward himself," coach Pavel Dotchev hopes to get the spark started.

Owusu came to the Ore Mountains in the winter as a hoped-for "game changer"

Dotchev still called him into the starting XI against Paderborn and felt vindicated afterwards: "I was very happy for him, because it's extremely important mentally for him. And a lot happens in his head."

"The appearance in Paderborn showed me that the team is physically very stable and doesn't let themselves be impressed by a deficit," Dotchev sees his team as mentally stable.
