Post-match, Coach Ogum commended the fans for their unwavering support. In a statement to the media, the former WAFA coach revealed that the team anticipated a hostile reception but were pleasantly surprised by the fans' positive energy throughout the game.

"We initially expected some criticism from the fans, but their reception was incredibly positive and supportive," Ogum remarked.

"They cheered relentlessly from the kickoff till the final whistle, embodying the true spirit of Asante Kotoko."

Following the victory, Asante Kotoko currently occupies the 10th position on the Premier League table with 36 points.

Their next fixture will see them visit Medeama SC for Matchday 28 at Akoon Park this weekend.
