Nana Yaw Amponsah, the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko has revealed that former head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum lied about him at a board meeting.
Narteh Ogum signed a two-year deal with Porcupine Warriors ahead of the 2021/22 football season.
The former WAFA gaffer led the side to lift the Premier League trophy in his first season at the club.
Speaking in an interview, Mr Amponsah revealed that Prosper Narteh Ogum surprisingly demanded to be part of a board meeting, insisting he want to talk.
During the meeting, Nana Yaw Amponsah said Dr Ogum said palpable lies about him during the board meeting which left him surprised.
“At the end of the season, I had to present a report to the board and there I was informed that Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum will be at the board meeting and I did not challenge that,” he told Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio.
“At the meeting, he told a palpable lie about me and I was surprised,” he added.
Prosper Narteh Ogum left the club after just a year and was replaced by Burkinabe trainer, Seydou Zerbo.
