Prosper Narteh Ogum praises youngster Peter Acquah after scoring in Kotoko's draw with Bechem United

Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has praised youngster, Peter Acquah for scoring his first goal for the club.

The young chap scored in the 10th minute for the Porcupine Warriors in their matchday seven games against Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The game however ended 1-1 after Augustine Okra scored in the second half.

Speaking after the game, Narteh Ogum praised the youngster and said the goal would boost his confidence.

“I think he is a young chap and I would like to congratulate him. He is good," he told StarTimes.

As a wing striker or as a wing player one of the key things there is to make sure that you score and that is what I have been telling him all the time.

So, I mean it’s good for his confidence, it’s good for his energy and he needs to keep it up," he added.

The draw leave Asante Kotoko on the 7th on the summit with 10 points and will be hosted by Premier League, Nsoatreman FC on Thursday in the matchday eight games at the Nana Kronmansah Stadium.
