Council for former Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariason has threatened the club to paid his client the amount ordered by Players & Coaches Statues Committee or else they will have to pay in excess of $100,000.

The Porcupine Warriors have been ordered to pay coach Zachariason $12,425 plus GH¢660 within the next 14 days after they were found guilty of contract breaches by the Players & Coaches Statues Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

The Norwegian trainer was sacked in November last year after only four months in charge, having joined them from Ashanti Gold SC.

Speaking to Kumasi FM 104.1, Prosper Yaw Ntow said, " It is true we have received the decision from the player status committee with regards to the exact compensation amount following the sack of Kjetil Zachariason from Kotoko."

"An amount of $12,425 plus GH¢660 must be paid to my client by Kotoko as ordered by the player status committee.

He added, "I can tell you that if Kotoko does not take this decision as a friendly one and honor it with respect but take a step to appeal the decision, the decision will get worse and they will have to pay in excess of $100,000.

"I have no qualms with anyone at Kotoko but I believe it’s time our club administrators govern their clubs in conformity with the law."
