Ligue 1 giants PSG are ready to make amove for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, according tothe Mirror.

PSG, who are currently second in the French league, would ideally like to sign Sturridge on a loan deal due to the England international's lack of form and difficulties with injuries this season. Sturridge has made 14 Premier League appearances this year, scoring twice.

The Anfield club will listen to offers for the 27-year-old, who impressed during the early stages of his Reds career but has struggled for fitness and form in recent years. The likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane have been preferred to Sturridge this season, with the forward trio firing Liverpool into the top four after the win over Arsenal on Saturday.

The only Premier League clubs believed to be interested in Sturridge are West Ham and Stoke, but neither club may be able to stump up the £30m Liverpool are asking for in return. The summer transfer window looks set to be a busy one for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, and the Reds are prepared to sacrifice Sturridge in order to bring in new acquisitions.

West Ham see Sturridge as a replacement for striker Andy Carroll, who they are prepared to sell thanks to his persistent injury problems. Stoke currently have Peter Crouch, Wilfried Bony and Saido Berahino available in forward positions, while PSG's Edinson Cavani is currently leading the European goalscoring charts with 27 league goals.

Sturridge has scored 59 goals in 113 Liverpool appearances since joining the club from Chelsea, including 21 league goals during his side's 2013-14 campaign.
