PSG eye 50 million Thomas Partey move

Ligue 1 defending champions, PSG, are looking to bolster their midfield for next season and see Thomas Partey as a good candidate for the role according to reports from Spain.

Atletico Madrid have maintained that they will not accept anything less than Partey's release clause to sell him. Partey's clause currently stands at 50 million euros.

PSG will have a problem triggering it as they did a huge outlay on former Inter Milan forward, Mauro Icardi. However, they are closely monitoring the situation and are looking at the possibility of paying the money for him.

They also face stiff competition from Arsenal who have been on the player's trail for sometime now. It has already been reported that he has agreed personal terms with the club.

It remains to be seen if PSG make a formal bid for him.
