Recently inquired about by Manchester United, Italian international playmaking/attacking midfielder Marco Verratti (25), who embraced Thomas Tuchel's new course at Paris Saint-Germain, is getting closer and closer to be signed on a new contract by French giants, extending it from June 2021 to 2023, and having his annual salary raised, from 6 to 7.3 million euros. Verratti was close to join back his home country last summer, but seems now eager to keep on playing for PSG, also due to Gianluigi Buffon joining in.
