Qatari referee Saoud Al-Adba to officiate Ghana’s friendly against Algeria today

The friendly encounter between the Ghana national team and their counterparts from Algeria will be handled by Qatari referee Saoud Al-Adba.

This has been announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) through an official communique.

“Qatari referee Saoud Al-Adba has been appointed to officiate Wednesday’s friendly International between Ghana and African Champions Algeria. The 35-year-old who has experience in International football has been a FIFA referee since 2018 and handles Qatari League matches and Asian World Cup qualifying matches.

“Saoud will be assisted by compatriots Ramzan Al-Naemi (Assistant I), Yousef Aref Al-Shamari (Assistant II) and Abdulhadi Al-Raile (Fourth Referee),” a statement on the website of the GFA has said.

Today’s pre-Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament friendly between Ghana and Algeria will be played at the Education City Sports Stadium.

Kick-off is at 16:00GMT.
