Ghanaian tactician, Coach Frimpong Manso has shared the view that fans of Asante Kotoko must lower their expectations.
According to him, the quality of players at the club at the moment does not correspond with the expectations of the fans.
He is of the view that it will take time for Asante Kotoko to reach the levels fans are demanding when the team will dominate the local league.
“The Kotoko club is very demanding, they want to win every game but most of their players are up and coming and it will take a lot of time for them to get to the expected level the fans demand.
“If the fans do not accept this and still demand a lot from them, then it must be looked at again,” Coach Frimpong Manso said in an interview with Oyerepa Sports.
He added, “So for me, I think the quality of the players does not correspond with the expectations of the fans.”
This season, the performance of Asante Kotoko has not been very good.
The team has mostly been inconsistent and looks set to miss out on defending the Ghana Premier League title.
