This Wednesday 5 September the Sydney suburb of Russell Lea will host the first get-together between two RCD Espanyol supporters’ groups - Australia's “PericOz” and Japan's “Perico Nippon”.
The event is designed to strengthen ties between these two decade-old peñas, as well as to celebrate the PericOz's 11th anniversary. The event will be hosted at the Prima Cucina restaurant, which is owned by Espanyol fans Kilian Diaz and Olivia Ruggeri.
There will be lots in store for attendees, such as the customary Skype call to the other official Espanyol supporters’ group in Australia, FNQ Espanyol de Cairns. Fans will also be treated to a commemorative cake but will have to wait until the day of the event to find its surprise design.
