Ghanaian youth striker Rahim Ibrahim was in action when Trencin suffered defeat to MSK Zilina in the Slovakian top-flight on Saturday.

The former Accra Lions attacker started and lasted the entire duration as his outfit succumbed to a 5-2 away defeat at the Pod Dubnom.

Slovakian international Patrik Ilko opened the floodgate for Zilina after founding the back of the net eleven minutes into the game before David Duris doubled his sides advantage in the 36th minute.

The home team continued their demolishing exercise after grabbing their third goal of the match through Adrian Kapralik, two minutes to recess.

Meanwhile, Rahim Ibrahim’s brace was not enough to save Trencin from defeat in the encounter. He scored in the 61st minute and 89th minute respectively.

Compatriot, Henry Addo scored and assisted for Zilina after climbing off the bench. He assisted his side fourth goal before founding the back of the net himself in stoppage time.

Ibrahim has now tallied three goals in three league matches and looks like he might have a prolific season.
