Ramos Kashala was not good against Dreams FC - Hearts of Oak coach Martin Koopman

Hearts of Oak coach, Martin Koopman has criticized striker Ramos Kashala, saying he is not good.

The Congolese striker who joined the Ghana Premier League prior to the start of the 2023/24 campaign has scored just a goal after four games.

Kashala's lone goal in matchday two against Nsoatreman FC at the Accra Sports Stadium sealed the win for the Phobians.

However, in the matchday four games against Dreams FC, Kashala was taken off.

Speaking after the game, the Dutch trainer said he needs strikers and justified why he brought off Ramos Kashala.

"We did a very good job but I tell you we have no striker and Issah has left for abroad and we have no striker and I tell them every time. We missed a striker.

Quizzed why he substituted Ramos Kashala, he said, "Do you think Kashala was good? No.

"He was not good playing and the next one who is going in is Hamza Issah. A young player with a lot of talent and he fights so Hamza Issah is the next option and that is the reason.," he added.

Hearts of Oak now sit 15th on the pile following the stalemate against the Still Beleive lads.

Martin Koopman and his charges will next be hosted by Accra Lions in the matchday five games at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 15.
