Executive Council (Exco) member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Randy Abbey has waved into the poor attendance at the various stadia in the Premier League.

According to him, the narrative will change if the supporters of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko work harder to get their fans to attend the games of their various clubs.

“Football is entertainment, once you hear Partey, Kudus, and all those players coming, they attract fans and so we are just hoping to develop that in the league.

Especially for Hearts and Kotoko, I think that the circles and the chapters must do a lot more, they have the most organized supporters, they hold elections, some people were voted into office so they must do more,” Randy Abbey told Akoma FM in an interview.

The Ghana FA exco member added, “once they take the lead, everybody else will follow, I think it's positive and we should encourage especially the chapters and circles of Hearts and Kotoko to do a lot more in terms of supporters mobilization.”

Meanwhile, other people have admonished the various clubs to invest and sign quality players to attract fans to the stadia.
