Supporters of Rangers have voted against the idea of the club planning a 9 million Euros summer swoop for Ghana and Trabsonspor forward Caleb Ekuban.

The Scottish giants based in Glasgow have made the Ghanaian international a transfer target for the next window in a bid to strengthen their squad for the next season.

After reportedly putting down a €9m cash to facilitate the transfer of Caleb Ekuban, the Scottish press put out a poll for vans to vote either in favour or against the signing.

At the end of the day, 53 percent of the Rangers fans voted against the idea with many citing that the amount is too high for the former Leeds United attacker.

While the side remains linked with Caleb Ekuban, they will face competition from Lazio who are also thought to the interested in the player.

It is unclear whether they will lower the planned offer or go ahead and make the approach when the summer transfer window comes around.
