Rangers have lodged an appeal against Jose Cifuentes' red card in Saturday's 3-1 win over Dundee.
The midfielder was initially booked for a challenge on Amadou Bakayoko but VAR upgraded the yellow to a red card.
As things stand, the Ecuador cap would be suspended for Sunday's Viaplay Cup final against Aberdeen, with violent conduct dismissals affecting the next domestic game.
A fast track tribunal has been arranged by the Scottish FA for Tuesday.
Cifuentes is available for Thursday's Europa League match against Real Betis.
