Raphael Dwamena express delight over recent goal-scoring form at Real Zaragoza

Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena has expressed delight after finally rediscovering his goal-scoring form at Spanish Segunda side Real Zaragoza in the ongoing season.

The striker joined the lower division side from Spanish La Liga side UD Levante in the summer transfer window but failed to find the back of the net in the first three matches of the campaign.

Having endured that spell of scoreless run, he has subsequently netted twice in his last two matches, helping Zaragoza to bag vital points in their quest to gain promotion at the end of the season.

Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of his side’s weekend fixture against Lugo, Dwamena has shared that he is “Happy about the goals and the results of the team", although he pointed out that "we still have a lot to improve”.

He further indicated that he is settling in the team as well as the league whiles citing that he is happier when the team wins matches rather than when he gets on the scoresheet.

“It is logical for a forward, if you score goals you feel better and that is why I am happy, but the most important thing is the Club, and if the team wins we all feel more comfortable; I don't care if I don't score while the team wins”, he said.

He will be in action tomorrow when Zaragoza hosts Lugo at the La Romareda.
