Austria Lustenau's Ghanaian goal-machine Raphael Dwamena has been overlooked in the latest Black Stars squaddespite scoring 11 goals in the Austrian second-tier.
The 21-year-old striker was snubbed for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Egypt despite increasing his tally in the league to 11 after netting a hat-trick against Liefering on Tuesday evening.
He has also displayed his all-round contribution by assisting vital goals during the season and is the highest scoring Ghanaian in Europe.
The former Red Bull Salzburg prodigy has been involved in more goals than any other player in the Austrian second-tier this season after scoring 13 times and providing four assists.
Dwamena has vowed not to be let down by this snub.
He said, "I want to continue scoring more goals. I work hard and practice at training but God is important to me. He's the reason behind everything I do."
The striker left Liefering before the start of the season to join Austria Lustenau.
