Ex-Black Stars forward, Raphael Dwamena indicated that he is happily living his life after enduring a tough few years.

The former FC Zurich poster boy rose to the top five years ago and attracted interest from a lot of clubs in Europe.

Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a heart condition prior to a bumper transfer to English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion.

While that revelation would lead to a collapse of the transfer, Raphael Dwamena subsequently earned a transfer to Spain where he signed for UD Levante.

Sadly, the heart condition wouldn’t allow him to continue his career. The recurring condition saw the striker move to different clubs in the last three years in search of stability which never came his way.

Amid fears that continuing his career could end fatal, the striker says he is unfazed.

According to him, if he loses his life it would be because God wills it.

"When I die, that is the will of God,” Raphael Dwamena said as quoted on nzz.ch.

Raphael Dwamena, 28, had stints with Vejle and BW Linz.
