According to Prodani, the demise of the Ghana international is not good for the image of Albanian football.

"It is a disaster that should have been avoided. It could have happened for many reasons, we cannot speculate. If the facts are verified, it may not be anyone's fault, I cannot prejudge it. This was a forewarned tragedy, because the player had strikes before and was not allowed in some clubs in Europe. I don't know where the human fault lies, if there is fault in this middle, it should be investigated. It is not good for the image of our football, it should not have happened” he told Report TV.

Dwamena, the league's top scorer this season with 12 goals in 12 matches, made eight appearances for Ghana and scored twice internationally.

His career included stints in Spain, Denmark and Switzerland. Local media reports have focused on Dwamena's previous heart problems.
