Rashid Sumaila donates to Muslims in Cape Coast ahead of Ramadan

Ghana and Al Qadsiya defender Rashid Sumaila has donated to the Muslim community in Cape Coast ahead of the start of Ramadan. 

Sumaila gave out bags of rice, packets of Lipton, milo, boxes of oil, and many more as Muslims prepare ahead of the fasting.

The donations were made on behalf of the player by a team of family members and close pals.

The Ramadan fasting begins on Thursday, April 23, and ends on May 23.

The former Asante Kotoko defender also presented hand sanitizers and some toiletries to the community in the fight against coronavirus pandemic in the country.

He is currently in Kuwait following the coronavirus outbreak.

The disease also called COVID-19 has led the suspension of football activities including the Asian country.
