All Ghanaian players playing their football in Kuwait will soon return home with authorities in the country putting in place a plan to evacuate foreign players.
The Asian country is one of the countries in the world which have been affected by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
As of Tuesday morning, there had been 16,764 confirmed cases of the disease with as many as 4,681 recoveries as well as a death toll of 121.
Due to the situation in the country, the football season in Kuwait has been suspended as a precautionary measure against the further spread of the disease.
With no certainty as to when the war against the Covid-19 disease will be won, football authorities and clubs in the country have decided to evacuate all foreign players to their native land.
In line with that Ghanaian internationals Rashid Sumaila [Qadsia SC], Nicholas Coffie, and Vincent Atinga [Al-Shabab] will soon return home.
