Ghanaian goalkeeper Razark Abalora put up incredible performance on his return due to card suspension for Azam FC in their 1-1 stalemate against Coastal Union on Tuesday night.

Abalora was impressive in their matchday 24 fixture in the Mainland Tanzania Premier League at the Mkwakwani Stadium.

Azam FC, who were looking forward to maintaining their top spot in the league was under immense pressure and the Ghanaian youngster came to their rescue in the early embers of the game.

Coastal Union pressure paid off as they took the lead through Ayoub Lyanga strike in the 47th-minute of the game. Azam FC came into the second half with power and aggression by dominating the midfield role and creating numerous goal-scoring chances but could not find the back of the net.

Azam equalised courtesy Obrey Chirwa's goal in the 51th-minute of a keenly contested game.

Unreluctant Coastal Union who lies 7th on the league log continued to push for a win but the determined backline of the visitors worked cooperatively well with red-hot Razark Abalora to hold Coastal to a 1-1 draw at home.

The 22-year-old has helped the two-time Manpuzi cup champions amass 50 points, eight points less of league leaders Young Africans.

He has conceded eight goals and recorded a remarkable 13 clean sheets in 21 appearances so far this season.
