RB Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch praises Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru after WSG Wattens

Red Bull Salzburg manager Jesse Marsch has lavished praises at Ghanaian youngster Majeed Ashimeru following his impressive display in their 5-1 away win over WSG Swarovski Tirol on Saturday.

Ashimeru bagged his first goal for the Red and White lads as they thrashed WSG Swarovski Tirol in the Austrian Bundesliga.

"We have a super team. Many players have performed well especially Albert and Majeed were great,” he said after the game.

The 21-year-old has featured in four games for Red Bull Salzburg this season, scoring one goal and registering one assist.

He spent last season on loan at Swiss Super League outfit St. Gallen, making 34 appearances and scoring five goals, with 10 assists to his name.

He has also previously featured for Austria Lustenau and Wolfsberger AC on loan.
