We are ready for Africa - Bechem Captain Issah Adamu

Bechem United captain Issah Adamu says the team is ready to represent the country in Africa. Bechem Uinted beat Okwahu United 2-1in the MTN FA Cup final to win their first ever silverware.

The Brong Ahafo based side will thus represent the nation in the CAF Confederations cup after winning the MTN FA Cup. Issah Adamu who made history by becoming the first captain to lead the team to a major success, told Lukman Evergreen Mumin of YFM that the club is ready to take on Africa.

“The Club’s President has promised they will support us to compete in Africa. We are ready to represent the nation and we will give in our best,” he told YFM-Accra.

Bechem United became the first Club from the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana to win the FA Cup which was a delight to Adamu.

“We are happy to have won the MTN FA Cup. It’s a great feeling together with my teammates to achieve this success.”

Bechem United will now shift their attention to the Ghana Premier League where there face New Edubiase in Match Day 28.
