Real Madrid and AS Monaco have struck terms over a world record fee for Kylian Mbappe, it has been revealed.

Marca says Real have reached a €180m [£160m] agreement with Monaco for the 18-year-old.

It is said that the deal will be either €150m [£134m] or €160m [£143m] up front and then €30m [£26m] or €20m [£17m] in add-ons.

Mbappe will sign a six-year deal with the La Liga and Champions League champions.

Monaco have refused to sell their young superstar throughout the summer transfer window.

But Real have reportedly managed to reach a breakthrough following talks between the two clubs in Los Angeles.

It is said that Real president Florentino Perez held negotiations in the USA recently and has secured an agreement in principle.
