Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane understands James Rodriguez's playing frustrations.
Linked with Manchester United, the Colombia midfielder has rejected an approach from Inter Milan over the last 24 hours.
In Cardiff for the Champions League final, Zidane hinted James could be on his way this summer.
"A player like James would have liked to play more at Real Madrid, normally, but in the end I have to choose," he said.
"James is very important, he has been very important all season. He looks good, he is methodical and focused.
"He is always in a good mood with his teammates."
