The terms of the new deal are expected to see the former Manchester United man's wage packet increase significantly, shortly after Gareth Bale signed a new deal worth a reported £350,000 a week.
Unlike previous contract renewals, Los Blancoswill be able to stage the event in the VIP lounge and far more significantly, Ronaldo will be 36 years and 145 days oldwhen the new contract expires.
He was unable to find the net in Real's last outing, a 3-0 win over Leganes, but did score a hat-trick against Alaves prior to that , taking his league tally to five so far this season.
