Real Madrid continue remarkable unbeaten run
Real Madrid

Zidane has made an incredible impact at Real Madrid again and they are now topping the La Liga table. There last title victory was in the 2016/17 season but the following year they could only finish in third and beaten 17 points by Barcelona.

Last season it was a similar third placed finish, being beaten 19 points. These both give an indication of just how much improvement they needed to make to again challenge Barcelona for the title.

Zinedine Zidane was then brought back into the club in March of 2019, as he looked to help the side get back to their former glory following a disappointing spell under Santiago Solari.

This has proved to be a very good move, as they top the La Liga table following the opening 22 matches played. Real Madrid have picked up 49 points from a possible 66, winning 14, drawing seven and losing just once. This puts them three clear of rivals Barcelona, who have won 14 matches, drew three and lost four.

Next up for Real Madrid will see them taking on mid-table side Osasuna. The tips at Sportytrader.com/en/ have Real winning the match, which is little surprise considering their current form.

You can also pick up some offers on the site, that includes a £50 deposit bonus at 22 bet. This can be used to support Real for further success this season, in which they have now been made the general favourites to pick up their 34th La Liga title and end the winning run of Barcelona.

Real Madrid are also continuing their incredible unbeaten run in all competitions that dates back to their 1-0 away defeat in La Liga to Mallorca in October. This also of course being their only defeat in the league this season to date. Since this they have now gone 21 games without defeat, which has been key to them now becoming favourites to win the Spanish top flight.

This run started with the side not conceding a goal in five matches, with victories over the likes of Galatasaray, Leganes and Eibar.

Real Madrid then also picked up three consecutive victories in La Liga, on top of a win over Club Brugge in the Champions league and being held to a 2-2 draw with PSG in the same competition. The latter a game they should have won, considering they led 2-0 up until the 81st minute.

Real Madrid were then held to three consecutive draws in La Liga, against Valencia, Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao. Since then, they have now won eight matches in succession that includes them beating Atletico Madrid via penalties in the final of the Supercopa de Espana.

They also beat the same side recently in La Liga. This gives a clear indication of the stunning form the side have been on in recent months and the clash with Barcelona at the start of March could yet be the key match to determine who wins the La Liga title this season.
