Real Madrid and Spain legend Iker Casillas has done just about everything in the world of football over the past two decades, winning five La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns for Los Blancos as well as a World Cup and two European Championships with Spain.

The 33-year-old achieved greatness through hard work and determination, but he was almost given a helping hand aged seven, as his Dad correctly predicted a 14-fold accumulator worth £1m, according toDream Team FC.

The only issue was that Casillas forgot to put money on his dad's bet, meaning that for years before his success Casillaswas left ruing that time he forgot to put aPeseta on his dad's 14-fold.

Roughly a decade after the betting-slip slipped through the grasp of the Casillas family, the plucky goalkeeper signed a professional contract for Real Madrid, where he would go on to play 725 times over 16 seasons.

After cementing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in Spain's history, Casillas went on to earn far more than the £1m he would have won on the accumulator, something that should ease his father's pain from two decades ago.
